WARS > Robot Wars Extreme Series 1
A special series recorded
February 2001 between the Fourth and Fifth Wars. The series contains lots
of less serious battles, different challenges and lots of fun, challenging
and different tournaments for many robots to get involve in to show
everyone else who is boss! This page gives you all you need to know about
this series. Please note
that I have split up this page into all the different tournaments there
were in this series. I haven't given you them in the order they were aired
on television and note that some shows featured more than one
tournament/challenge/battle in so not all the tournaments/categories you
see here take up one whole show, there were lots of different tournaments
in each show. Challenge
Belt Behemoth was
given the challenge belt to start with but can they keep it? They must
battle other robots, the winner receives the belt who must try and keep it
and not lose it to any other robots they take on. Robots
involved: Behemoth, The
Steel Avenger, Stinger, Tornado,
Comengetorix, Wild Thing, Chaos
2, Pussycat Winner:
Tornado - they managed to
keep hold of the Challenge Belt no matter how many battles they fought! Flipper
Frenzy All the best
flippers put in the arena at once! Who do you think wins? Which robot has
the best flipper? Well, instead of taking on each other, they decided to
gang up and form a rebellion against the house robots! Robots
involved: Chaos 2, Thermidor
2, Wheely Big Cheese,
Bigger Brother Well,
as I said, they turned on the house robots (who were Matilda
and Sgt Bash). Sgt Bash
was flipped over, but they couldn't get it out of the arena! Matilda
survived as she single handedly took out Chaos 2, Wheely Big Cheese and
Bigger Brother. Thermidor 2, the only survivor and last one left in,
couldn't take out Matilda, no matter how hard they tried! Winner:
Thermidor 2 (because they
were the only ones still alive after the battle, however, lots of people
disagree and say that Matilda actually won!) Armed
Forces Battle Robots

Mayhem How
do I describe this? Basically, just a MAYHEM! An excuse for robots to go
into the war zone and fight. The winners of each mayhem qualify for an
annihilator at the end of the series were 6 robots (winners from the
mayhem) fight until only 1 is left. There are also two annihilators.

Vengeance Many
robots have grudges on each other, may be because of losing to them
previously or they want to prove something. Well, this gives them a chance
to settle old scores.
All
Stars The best
machines fight to determine who the best of the best is.
