Nice battle again.
Tactic for next round:
Iron Awe 2.1 vs Hard - Dodge the initial flip/charge, attack from the side, flip IA over, and don't let it right itself.
Nice battle again.
Tactic for next round:
Iron Awe 2.1 vs Hard - Dodge the initial flip/charge, attack from the side, flip IA over, and don't let it right itself.
Good first round battles, Chris!
For this fight, I will try and flip Hard out of the arena, similar to the way Iron Awe flipped Bigger Brother out
IA is short for Internal Affairs units in police forces. Thought I should just say that

INFERNAL CONTRAPTION
Looked very impressive in the first round, I felt.
THE STEEL AVENGER
A little quiet, I felt, with Iron Awe doing most of the work against IG-88.

This will be an interesting battle. Infernal Contraption charges out and hits The Steel Avenger full on. The Steel Avenger swings its axe, and hits the outer rim of one of the wheels. Infernal Contraption is a small robot and the design, I think, may give The Steel Avenger a lot of trouble. The Avenger tries clinging to Infernal with its axe, but it can only hold on for 30 seconds before it must let go. It does so and Infernal Contraption rides away. It turns and tries a side onslaught, but Steel Avenger tries to take a swing...no, it's missed! And that allows Infernal Contraption to rush around the side and hit it with its flywheel.
BAMM!
The Avenger is jolted, but not really much more than that. Infernal Contraption rushes out of the way, the disc quickly getting up to speed, three seconds let me remind you. The Steel Avenger turns as well....right now it seems like the two are each trying to get in an attacking position on the other at the same time....no, hang on, Steel Avenger reverses into Infernal Contraption...
BAMM!
The rear end takes a nasty buffeting! Steel Avenger tries to use its lifter, and overturns Infernal Contraption. That won't worry it, though. It can run either way up. The two robots turn, Infernal slightly the faster...
BAMM!
It hits The Steel Avenger in the side again! This is very even so far. Both machines seem to be playing a very stratergic game here. Very close between the two....right now, they seem to be meerly dodging each other....oh, another head on collision! Infernal has veered slightly to the side, and The Steel Avenger fires its axe....but fails again to strike an effective part of Infernal Contraption. That really is a worry here. But again, it's grabbed hold of it, and it is taking its prey....towards the CPZ perhaps....yes, and Growler grabs hold of Infernal Contraption's wheel. He carries it to the centre of the arena, and does a nice little spin with it. Infernal Contraption looking a little weary...but it has been let go and it is away again...
BAMM!
Straight into the side of The Steel Avenger again....a buffet, but not much damage....the odd scratch down the side perhaps. Still, though, the two robots have to play their little game, and we're running out of time....

The Steel Avenger has just landed a hit on Infernal Contraption at last!

CEASE!!
And its all over. It goes to the judges. They'll, of course, be marking on Style, Control, Damage and Aggression. Lets have a look at the scorechart for that battle.

THE STEEL AVENGER

Aggresion - Very aggresive, but missed several of its shots. 3/5

INFERNAL CONTRAPTION GOES THROUGH TO THE HEAT FINAL!!
Once more, an excellent match.

HARD
The wedge was used very effectively against Diabolus, I felt.
IRON AWE 2.1
VERY impressive for me, must be the favourite for this heat.

Two very impressive machines, I felt. Iron Awe rushes out to the centre of the arena. Hard quickly turns and dodges to the side. It gets underneath Iron Awe and flips it...not quite over, but now Hard tries to bury itself underneath Iron Awe's body. It pushes it across the arena, lifting it up. It is strong for a machine so small. Iron Awe is stuck...no, Hard drops it. Unable to flip it that way, it'll have to try an alternative. It tries to get around the side again, but this time Iron Awe gets underneath Hard's ground clearance....and FLIPS! Hard tumbles away across the arena! It was a mighty flip. Iron Awe moves closer...is Hard moving? It is now, Iron Awe flips it again! Close to the arena edge! But I don't think Hard is moving under its own power! I think it's broken down! Iron Awe gets underneath again....and Throws it out of the arena! Goodbye, Hard! See you again on the next plane home!
CEASE!!
Wow, that was really quick. Hard luck!
IRON AWE GOES THROUGH TO THE HEAT FINAL.
HEAT FINAL
Infernal Contraption vs Iron Awe 2.1
That was a good fight, Chris.
Infernal Contraption is hard to get hold off, which is probably why the Steel Avenger lost to it. However, Iron Awe is much bigger than SA, so I will flip Infernal Contraption around and maybe push it into the pit.
Bah! Good fight Chris, and good luck eene against IC.
Welcome back everyone. We're finally done with Heat A of The Legends Special. Two of the meanest, toughest legends have survived, but only one will escape the heats for the very first time.

THE STORY SO FAR
----------
INFERNAL CONTRAPTION looked very impressive in the first round battle. It was quick and nippy across the arena and its spinning drum did a lot of critical damage to Diabolus, who ended up in the pit. It then tackled The Steel Avenger and managed to evade most of its hits to win through on a judges decision.
IRON AWE 2.1, with The Steel Avenger, qualified after causing a massive upset, flipping IG-88 over in a matter of seconds. The lack of a srimech left Team Vader's machine down and out, leaving Iron Awe to convincingly defeat Hard, throwing it from the arena.

INFERNAL CONTRAPTION
With the big spinning drum, accelerating in three seconds.
IRON AWE 2.1
Arguably the favourite coming into the battle

And off they go. Infernal Contraption attempts to via to the side, but Iron Awe is able to get underneath one of its wheels, and flips it! That won't worry the invertible Infernal Contraption, as it tries to attack Iron Awe from the side. But Iron Awe turns, and manages to get the flipper underneath Infernal Contraption again. It flips it upwards. And flips it again. Infernal Contraption either keeps landing on the flipper, or it can't get away quickly enough. Three flips pass before Infernal Contraption is finally able to get away. Infernal Contraption now tries to get around the side, like it did with Steel Avenger, but Iron Awe sees the chance....down comes the axe....Oh, it's actually HIT Infernal Contraption this time. The axe not only shorter, but with the smaller point, it is able to more effectively grapple onto Infernal Contraption, and has seized it right on the flywheel brace. Iron Awe pushes it towards the CPZ....no, changes its mind and hits the pit release button instead, and the pit slowly desends. But Iron Awe can't hold Infernal Contraption forever and the axlebot slips from its grasp. It runs back to the centre of the arena, turns, only for Iron Awe to catch up and flip it again, skyward. It lands, and Iron Awe snags it with the axe again. It reverses back towards the pit......OOOOH, careful! Nearly reversed straight in! But Iron Awe turns, and Infernal Contraption simply cannot get a grip.....and down the pit it goes!
CEASE!!
Infernal Contraption....Infernal to Eternal Bot-Damnation, I'm afraid.
THE WINNER.....AND THROUGH TO THE LEGENDS FINAL.....IRON AWE 2.1
And with that, Iron Awe takes the first of eight spots.
1. Iron Awe 2.1
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
But who will join it?
NEXT TIME - Heat B
Araknia vs Reactor 2 vs Wolverine

See you then.
hassocs hog: flip 259, possible team up with reptiron?
Yay
For Heat B, I'm not sure as what I will do. Maybe if anyone wants to team up and go after one of them
