i have managed to get someone who says he is component level with electrics to have a look at my roboteq. he says that 1 fet is leaking and that could cause my power problems. anyone heard of that fault. ?
yup needs a new FET but need to realy find out why its leaking ie what caused it, on mine it was over current
there has been a short on the board. where the motor wire is soldered to the board it looks like there is exessive solder ad its worn down the protective sheet of plastic and shorted on te roboteq casing. i will change the fet and plug in laptop and see whats going on. still i might send it to usa for piece of mind
Hi Everyone with RoboteQs
Myself and swanny have been working to try and get his roboteQ repaired after he had no joy with contacting roboteQ.
I have been in contact with Cosma, and for anyone who didnt know, RoboteQ still do a repair or replace service.
Swannys HE roboteq is on its way to france, and a brand new one will be with us very soon. All for $260.
If anyone wants any info ( or maybe you already know i dont know ) let me know.
John
