Thread: So Many Kind Of Judges Decisions

    Ill be happy to help.

There are many kinds spread throughout the FRA, such as the system Martijn uses in the Mechanical Noise tournaments, or the one I have just recently started using in Crash & Burn. Steven McGregor and Richard Southworth also used different systems for their major tournaments. Have a look around.

The way that RW used to work is:
    Style
    Control
    Damage
    Aggression

With a winner for each area, but Damage is weighted so its worth 2.

Style - how stylish the robot has been during the match

Control - this can be read differently

    1. Who has controlled the fight more

    2. Whose drive has been more controlled

No no no no no, strategy is different.

Here, Ill put it in simple words. Style is rated on how flashy your robot is when fighting.

My own opinion here: An example would be the Grand Final of Series 7. Typhoon 2 spinning and Storm II ramming. Both are attacking, but who looks flashier when doing so? When Typhoon 2 attacks, it looks really cool while doing so because its got the colours (a good paint job does wonders) and the movement to do so. Storm II...not so much, because a dully-coloured rammer isnt very...stylish when just coming in and hitting you. You see there must be some creativity that shows in your robot, really, in order for it to come out on top in style points.
