Oh Dear, what have I done? Travel Inn has another guest.
Mike.
I have eventually got around to posting.
The weekend in Wales, Monday in Holland, now in Belgium, tomorrow in France......back home on Thursday. I€™ve now had time to think about what a great weekend we all had.
The crowds and battles were some of the best I have enjoyed so far. Well done to Jonno, not only for Ripper€™s performance, but also for the whole event. I am sure the winter tour will be a great success, and the public interest is certainly still there. The Robodome arena has the potential to make this a truly great spectacle for the audience, and with the addition of some house robots or arena effects I think there is still a great future for our hobby / sport.
Apologies to the Chronic Team for throwing them out of the arena, but having never done it before the temptation was too great!
EWE2 suffered from €˜chain coming off€™ problems again which I hope to have sorted before Edinburgh.
Congratulations to Pillow Talk for dominating the featherweights at the weekend. If I have time to sort out the drive on Cutlet I would love to have a battle at some point on the tour to see whether your awesome pushing power can out do the FP flipper.
Jenny your driving is getting too good!
And my final thought on the event goes to Shane...............
Bing!
Ian
Ian, not a problem. Ill try and return the favour at Worcester
Dave
Admit it Ian, you are a bad bad boy.
Good boy Mikey.
Do we get any Apologies? We went out twice
Mike is just a bad boy always, and never apologies. LOL!!!
Bad Boy. LOL!
Mr Stu
Good boy Mikey - i dont think so! i seem to remember jumping back as Mute came flying out of the arena towards me!
even though i dont have my bot ready for the event am i still allowed in before the show starts?
Mark, you knows I loves yah. Ok, sorry for dumping you over the wall ( once mind. Not twice )
Alan, that shows why people should stand away from fencing only to well.
Slapped wrist Mikey.
Alistair, the public are allowd in 1 hour before the show starts. Sounds a long hour to wait, but it gives everyone plenty of time to look around the stalls and meet the roboteers before the show starts. So you got plenty of time Alistair.
