hey im thinking of using the old bang bang system to operate my axe will cost bout 30p for the screws and 10 quid for a servo but how can i make it failsafe and would it be regarded as unsafe its and axe weapon oiff an electric motor

Just add the failsafe before the servo....this should be acceptable.
will the servo set to neutral position again? otherwise the current is not broken as the servos still on the positive and negative wires
The failsafe will return the servo to a position preset by you ....just twiddle a screw to set the failsafe position.
sounds gd any idea where i can pic one up i presume they work like mixers
Ive always used the FS1 but the Xtra seems popular .....but a different method of setting the failsafe position.

I still have the FS1 in several machines. Just not in my spektrums or robots where the switches and speedos have their own failsaves built in.
