The reason we don't use the Electronizes is size.
Compared to a Scorpion XXL Ilyama version the Electronizes are Huge.

+1 for the ruggedness of the Electronize range.
Like Ewan said, the delayed fwd/rev switching action and lack of braking are a bit sloppy when compared to the precision control capabilities of the solid state controllers, but that's nothing a little bit of driving practice can't compensate for.
@Maddox, yeh they are rather large, plus you need 2.....
But if you have the space they're great.

I assume that as long as you're drawing less than 20A, which 1 drill motor would do, then it will be fine. They are fine in Eric Jr anyway![]()
If you really want to use the Mtronics ESC's then just got for the models that have proportional fwd and rev.
