    Way-ooooooooooooo!

But thanks for the kind words. It's somewhat humbling that Bitza has become synonymous with cheap and successful building.

    What rpm are your motors?

Probably want to keep it as it is or do an increase

on the case of the motors it says 115rpm
that will be with the gearbox, which i guess you dont have, in which case the motors probably are doing 3000-4000rpm.

your best to turn the teeth off the motor so you have a plain shaft, and then use chain. Will cost alot to have gearboxs made.

You might be able to throw some gearboxes together using Nylon (I wouldn't use anything softer, like HDPE) if you have access to a semi-decent pillar drill. A few years back I sent a couple of pieces of Nylon to Matt Davey (Tuff Luck) and when I turned up at an event two weeks later, he had got them drilled out to use as Speed 900 gearboxes, and they looked pretty nice.

They were just one-stage and one peice per gearbox. Making a more traditional gearbox with two sides, and getting everything lined up etc could be more challenging, but it could be a possible low-cost solution.
