Hey look, it's a fight I completed this last ight, but was too tired to go through all the highlighting and faces and stuff I do when I post these fights, thus am posting it UK time at 7:00. By the way, only two more fights left of the Challenge Belt, and the All-Stars is next, so be aware

MATCH: SIX
Flick Of The Wrist vs. Macduff The 5th

From Enschede, The Netherlands, Flick Of The Wrist!!
Entered by Martijn Benschop
One flick of the wrist and you€™re a goner! Flick Of The Wrist is a 6 wheeled, high-powered rammer which uses 2 major weapons - first of all, the B42-500 MagMotors at 48V, providing awesome 35hp and speeds of 22mph to cross the floor quickly. The second set of weapon are a pair of Hardox lifting spikes with the ends tipped with diamonds to make them mega-sharp and have the ability to get under the lowest of skirting. The forks are 25cm each, and can be lowered so they push the whole robot up so it can move on the back wheels, or they can be set parallel to the ground, making them as effective spikes - the whole robot produces 5kj of force when ramming something at full speed, and can cause some damage! Damge is prevented by 7mm Titanium covering every bit of the robot. A 1cm clearance may be exploitative€¦if you can live that long€¦

From Toronto, Canada, Macduff The 5th!!
Entered by Kody Kunz
Aye, yer wee robotic terrors, look out for the king of Scotland! What we€™re looking at here is a low-rammer design with 6 wheels for ultimate speed - 15mph coming from 2 x LEM130€™s at 48V, giving 24hp - and traction in a straight line, armoured in a Titanium/Vanadium alloy, 7.5mm thick with extra covering on the sides and rear. That€™s not the main advantage of this robot: this robot has an interchangeable weapons system: with weapons ranging from electric lifting forks, a drum weapon with 2 x Tungsten steel teeth and a flipper with a 50cm extension that can lift 250kg to static scoops. This robot seems the perfect karma chameleon but the invertible nature of this robot means the wheels are exposed, and thus said karma chameleon may soon be arrested.

Booth #1: Martijn B
Booth #2: Kody K (using the flipper)

Roboteers, stand by!!!

3€¦2€¦1€¦activate!!!

It€™s the attack of the clones here on E.O.T.R today, as the two rammers power from the starting zones into the arena centre. A loud clang as the rammers hit, but Macduff, the weasley Scottish king from Canada, has got the flipper blade in between the forks Flick, and in a quick Flick, Flick is sent facing backwards - and upside down - as Kody goes in pursuit now€¦POWER!! Flick is slammed back against the Hardox walls by Kody, who has got into a brilliant start so far€¦but not for long€¦THE WHEELS OF FLICK OF THE WRIST ARE SPINNING WILDLY! And the result is the more powerful Flick is shoving Macduff hard back into his starting square. Excellent piece of aggression there by Flick, but the question is how much more can do here, as he€™s forced to let Kody go, who is back on the attack. Flick is trying to get to the sides of the machine, but Kody€™s driving is too skilled for that; Martijn tries to get the side, but Kody cuts him up, getting to Martijn€™s own side, and flicking Flick over once again! Macduff powers on, taking Flick Of The Wrist across the arena, power the saws, which buzz as they slice into the base plate of their victim. Both machines take a ride over the saws, but neither seem to have taken anything much more than a scratch from the saws, as Macduff hits the current Challenge Belt holder against the wall. Good control so far by Macduff here. Flick needs to do something here, but he can€™t seem to get around the sides of Macduff, as tries to slam in once more, but the flipper is there again€¦and points racking up all the while for Macduff here, as the stylish throws followed by fast rams are on the cards today. Martijn looks worried as his robot is once again rammed hard onto the spike strip once more; he needs something to come back into the fight with. But what€™s this?? Martijn€™s ramming machine plows hard into the rear of Macduff - finally a good piece of driving from the Dutch competitor - and catches him straight on the lifting forks. The forks raise up the machine on the said forks and drive straight at the wall, at incredible speed and pace€¦BANG! And Flick has stacked Macduff the 5th - but hopefully not the last - with the flipper facing inside the ring, as Martijn backs off for another hit in. Kody activates the flipper, but it€™s not strong enough it seems to launch his machine off the wall€¦but it€™s not strong enough to eject him from the ring either: instead, Kody has stacked himself on the wall, and the wheels are spinning madly to try and drive off the wall! The fight looks to have been completely turned on its head, as Martijn looks on, spinning in victory€¦OR IS IT?? Flick Of The Wrist is spinning on one side, the other side wheels not moving: and we can see why, as the drive chain to one side wheels has come off - as he reversed off for another ram, the saws hit in and knoked the chain off! The question is now, can Macduff get free in time?? The answer appears to be no! Well, there€™s nothing left to do; the judge will have to decide!
CEASE!!!

Well that was an amazing fight. It all seemed to be going so well, but with both machines deemed immobile, we call upon the esteemed judge to decide on the winner of the fight. Who is it? Well, only time will tell€¦

JD - The scores:

Dominance: Both robots displayed different periods of dominance. More dominance was held by Macduff, as he was constantly overturning Flick Of The Wrist and driving him about the arena. The two main attacks Flick was able to get in, was when Macduff was effortlessly shoved back to his starting square by the Dutch rammer, and the final stacking move that immobilised Macduff. Close, but this goes Macduff for the longer, more sustained periods of dominance.

Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 6 =12
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 6 = 18

Damage: This is a no contest. After looking at the two robots from the pits, Flick sustained a lot of dints and scratches to add onto the broken chain. Macduff barely had a disturbed paint job. All points go to the Scottish robot Macduff, and his Canadian driver.

Flick Of The Wrist: 0 x 5 = 0
Macduff The 5th: 5 x 5 = 25

Aggression: Flick Of The Wrist did try and come on the attack fairly frequently, which is worth noting as most of Macduff€™s attacks occurred because Flick came on the attack on him. Due to this fact, Flick does take the lead on this section, but only just because of the fact that while he attacked more, Macduff did keep on turning it around to his favour.

Flick Of The Wrist: 3 x 4 = 12
Macduff The 5th: 2 x 4 = 8

Strategy: Martijn€™s strategy seemed to be just ramming Macduff about and hope something would happen, which admittedly it did. However, Macduff had the greater need for strategy behind it, as he picked the right weapon for the occasion, and used it well. Therefore Macduff takes the majority points in this section.

Flick Of The Wrist: 1 x 3 = 3
Macduff The 5th: 4 x 3 = 12

Control: Both machines showed excellent moments of control, but Macduff did show skill and flare in dodging many of Flick€™s onslaughts, and managing to turn them on him. However, Flick seemed unpreteured by a lot of this, as he was able to come back easily from said attacks, therefore, this is closer than you€™d think.

Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 2 = 4
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 2 = 6

Style: In a fight with what is, in essence, two ramming boxes, styles a bit hard to judge. However, the combination of flips and rams, Macduff did show excellent style of fighting. However, Flick does score points for the skill at which he was able to get the two main attacks in with.

Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 1 = 2
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 1 = 3

Totals:

Flick Of The Wrist: 31
Macduff The 5th: 74

Well, it€™s sad but true: the reign of the Challenge Belt holder is over! Sorry Martijn, but you don€™t get the belt, as the decision for the winner is MACDUFF THE 5TH!

Result:
Flick Of The Wrist finds himself thrown off into the distance!
MACDUFF THE 5TH STEALS THE CHALLENGE BELT!!!
