That works really well! I wonder if light and fast is better than slow and heavy (axe heads)?
An Interesting question.
The effectiveness of a hitting weapon relies on three basic parts.
1/ Speed.
2/ Mass (or weight).
3/ Contact surface area.

I would say there is a small advantage going fast and light. The reason is, it dose not give the armour as much time to distort and in doing so absorb and dissipate the energy in the contact area.

But what do you think?
