Spektrum RX aeriel

Would I be able to cut a bit off my Spektrum AR500's aeriel as it is too long and doesn't fit in my ant?

Jigsaw V has no aerials at all on the reciever (they fell off a long time ago) and it works perfectly though, even from across the house, so I'd guess that cutting a bit off would do no harm.

Just wrap it around the receiver and use some electrical tape to hold it down

Open the receiver case and tuck the aerial inside
