top armour thickness

I'm making a double wedge ram bot and I'm wondering how thick I need the top armour to be if i use HDPE or isn't HDPE suitable for top armour

6mm HDPE is fine if you want different 3mm aluminum would work

its strong stuff, put it that way

its quite flexible if its thin. polycarbonate is more ridgid

Matt you're getting confused with strength, Harry you're getting confused with rigidity. For the DENSITY of hdpe google it- I can't remember it off the top of my head

Off the top of my head it's a little bit below 1g/cm^3.

ive not tested mine properly yet and i dont think the tip is the right shape yet but crumple zone has the equlivant of 700kg on the tip
