what sorts of parts would be used for a HP flipper?
i know weight is an issue due to the high weight of the flipper system but what sorts of motors, batteries and armour etc would be normally used?

Would speed 900's with appropriate gear boxes be too heavy for a flipper?
They would work, even drill motors would
That's what I was thinking, if you ran drill motors on something like 18v lipos thepoor keeps power up and weight down
The Hannibalito's run/ran on speed 900's with the MSR 12-54 gearbox with 100mm wheels controlled by a scorpion XXL Ilyama version on 12 or 13.2V. DX6 tx BR6000 rx.
Weapon. Custom full pressure ali ram, Burkert 5404 2/2 valve, controlled by a Ilyama voltage booster & adjustable Pulse- rc switch . Standard 12 oz paintball bottle with on/off valve , custom buffertank, PRV and dumpvalve. Steel box section flipper with hardox scoop.
Frame, steel box/L-section.
Armor, 5, 8 , 10 and 20mm thick bend/welded bolted HDPE.
how much do HP systems cost on average?
There is no set price. It's mostly custom work. And weight is very influential on the pricetag.
And there ain't to many people who can/will make them and can do the paperwork to comply to the FRA rules.
are you one of the few that can and will make them?Originally Posted by maddox10
I think I'll refrain from answering that question.
