Thread: heavyweight ram bots?

  1. #71
Since toxic has mounts for 750's it's probably better for me to go for them

bosch 400 weighs about 3.1kg and bosch 750 weighs about 3.7kg aswell

  3. #73
i think for the sake of 1.2kg its probably worth it but what is the price difference?

If those prices still stand then it makes sence to use the 750's

Just a shame there aren't any Bosch 400s on eBay for £5 each like there were four years ago

But from what I've heard, the 400s don't like being over-volted to anything above 18V (Chaos 2 seems to be the exception) so if you're wanting to over-volt to get more power, the 750s are definitely the better option. That and the fact they're generally more powerful.

Were would I be able to find some second hand motors?

I'm from the black country area so we like a good deal much like to scots )

put up a wanted thread on the forum

  9. #79
I probably will once I physically have toxic.

Just out of curiosity, what are both those motors actually built for? By that I mean what job are they intended for?

Yeah but most of Chaos 2's bout lasted seconds thanks to them always OOTA-ing so the motors always lasted!

I do believe on their site they stated a Bosch 400 at 24v wasn't much different from the 750.
