Where to get materials

Where is the best place for me to get some box section and steel or aluminum sheeting for my robot?
I found a few places online, but was wondering if there is anywhere specific most people buy from.

just find a local metal supplier, most have trade counters. You can get small amounts from B&Q etc but is very expensive.
