speed 900 gear reduction for drive

I was gust wondering what reduction people use for drive and what size wheels do you use with that reduction. I was also wondering if there is a cheaper alternative of the speed 900s? Thanks.

Depends on what you want to do. For pushing power go with 18V-24V and a high gear ratio, or for a simple reliable drive like we have in Hannibalito that is a single stage with a 5:1 ratio on 12V-14.4V and 100mm wheels.

Stagefright is on 5:1 at 24v which is just totally stupid
