spring powered flippers

hi, i am considering a spring powered flipper feaverweight design. does anyone know what size springs would be powerful enough to turn over a featherweght? Also i am unsure of how to make a mechanism to return the flipper down, does anyone know how the ones on battlerats work? any good pictures of the insides of a battlerat would be helpful.

Have my Battlerat sitting next to me, what sort of pictures you wanting? The flipper on it is returned by a weapon motor turning and catching on to a hook attached to the flipper.
