Hello Roboteers!

On behalf of all the team here a Robo Challenge we would like to say a big thank you for all of your support throughout the year. 2010 has been an incredible year for us which has seen us on TV's The Gadget Show, a feature at europes biggest home & technology exhibition and of course hosting the 2010 UK Championships. We have really enjoyed hosting the events and are extremely grateful for all the teams that travel to compete at Robo Challenge, Thank you. Looking on to 2011 there are some incredible things in the pipeline. We have been working on a big project and hope to make an announcement early next year. Regarding hosting a Full combat championships we are also looking at the various possibilities and will keep you posted.

Its Been a great year for robochallenge James, Congratulations to you, Grant and Nick on everything you've achieved in the last 12months. The events have been some of the best Ive ever been to, and have given me reason to keep on with this sport when i was about to give it up. Hopefully next year will be just as good, if not better!

Firstly we apologise for being so quiet but behind the scenes the team at Robo Challenge have been extremely busy on some exciting new events and projects. Here is a brief of our updates so far

Brand new Newsletter - keep up to date with all things at Robo Challenge including info on new events, cool projects we are working on, new products in store and prize give aways! You can't sign up on our website at www.robochallenge.co.UK

2011 UK Championships - It's all organised and ready to go! Details and sign up will be up hopefully by the end of the week.

Mini bot kits - The team at Robo Challenge have developed a great new mini robot perfect for people that would like to get started in roboteering. Information and pre orders will be available very soon with the launch at The Gadget Show Live!

Do you happen to have any pictures of what the kits will look like?

We don't have any pictures just yet however the robots weight approximately 400g and are armed with flippers. Interchangeable parts and upgrades/new weapons will also be available soon too.

oh yes sorry for the typo, you CAN sign up on the site. Regarding the robots, Jonno and I have completely different customers and in different areas. Hence we are both still in business as are Robots Live. Looking forward to launching the kits, got some great upgrades in the pipe line.
