I know titanium is the strongest metal for its weight but is steel stronger for its size
but bare in mind the cost
but 0.5mm will withstand spinners
no it wont
0.5mm steel= cheap as chips. got a whole sheet of it lying around. 1mm polycarbonate is far superior though
yeah steel isn't ideal as its just too heavy if you go any thicker than 1mm ish. Spring Steel is similar but slightly lighter and more robust, also as the title suggests, its springy so it absorbs some of the impact, take Johnnys advice and get some polycarbonate, or if you need a metal get titainium or spring steel, and avoid aluminium+steel

theres loads of titanium on ebay apparantly 0.7mm will be quite strong.
TITANIUM IS 4 TIMES STRONGER THAN STEEL! wooowww thats 2.8mm steel
