If they've not been charged since back in the RW days they might be dead anyway and need to be changed. Eric/Scar use SLA's, but they're tiny compared to the ones they used to use.

Tony has a point, as far as I know, Mr Nasty was last used back in 2004

Very strong possibility that they're dead then. I also very much doubt that you'll get 2 additional scoops added on with 10kgs of weight, especially if you're sticking with 6mm steel or Hardox, the scoop on my feather is around 2kgs and its only 430x10x5mm

Batteries will be knackerd, even if they have been kept charged. For something like Mr Nasty you would need Hawkers, you won't get away with using cheap ones as they won't deliver the current, so your looking Â£300 for a set of batteries.
