The spike possibly, not sure how its attached, but could maybe make it removable easily. Maybe even a lifter?

I've never tried a HW electric lifter, but if the batteries can be moved back/modernised it might be a possibility.

well Cherub uses a 250w motor with a 500:1 ratio so its possible

Like shunt had I guess. Good for clearing snow I suppose .

I know that its possible as far as hardware is concerned, but as Michael said earlier, its space thats the issue.

the possibilities are endless... until i hit the weight limit

it weighs 90kg so only 10kg spare of weight

yep, and if the batteries are changed it could take an extra few kilo's off
