If NST is classed as being in the pit while one wheel is over the pit then surely Seraph should be classed as in the pit every time it drives over the pit. The rules do need to be looked at when it comes to the pit. Even in normal fights, If a flipper robot was put into the pit by a pusher but then flipped itself back out that would be judged against it, But if you have a robot like seraph you can drive through the pit all day long and it doesnt seem to matter. I like seraph its a good design, Its hard to flip, you cant put it in the pit and its fun to watch because its so different but it should be judged in the same way as all the other robots.
So bacause NST wasnt actually in the pit, And it all happened so fast that it is hard to clearly tell what robot was immobile first without watching it back on a recording. So if anything it should have been a double count out, or restarted. And im sure Alex would have been well up for a restart. Alex would have probably won the anihilator even if it was restarted, Its a good solid machine and hes a very good driver and hes proven he can beat spinners time and time again. So the overall outcome might have been the same at the end of the day, but as you know a majority of the people didnt agree with that call.
