I used them for my Ni-Mh and they were really good and fast.

Drum looks brilliant Tom, although I think your timing pulley is a little on the small side![]()
Not managed to get Aftershock running again so we have decided to replace it with Whirlpool. The old chassis was a write off so here is the result of a few hours work today to build a new one. Made from a piece of 15mm thick HDPE gas pipe so should be fairly spinner proof we hope

A robot like that can't possibly fail! I love it![]()
Whirlpool? I think that design can have only 1 possible name. Good luck Ringpiece![]()

Never been to the NEC before, can anybody tell me the easiest way to find the hall once we get to the venue please?
How far is the parking from the hall and how much per day?
Thanks

Looks great Will, but I just want to see it get flipped onto its side and roll round and round the arena![]()
just ask all the staff, there are so many signs inside and the staff are really helpful.Originally Posted by cliveb
it will probably be in the main arena so really just head there
ring piece vs boner?......Whirlpool? I think that design can have only 1 possible name. Good luck Ringpiece![]()

Theres a ring road that runs around it, im guessing will enter via gate 3 (probably the 2nd roundabout you get to), and the robots are in hall 11 entry via 11.1, no point in saying you with Gadget Show live as they have 4-5 halls, normally you require a loading pass to get through the security gate, but i'm gueesing not as we haven't had one . Parking distance will vary depending on which one you get put in as there are dozens of car parks, i think parking is about £8, not sure though as we get it for free when exhibiting.
