I usually run Jigsaw for a bit before stopping and charging it just to be safe. You can get away with running it until the first signs of a noticable power decrease - which in my robots manifests itself as a drop in speed on one side - and then turning the robot off and charging the battery straight away - you do need to look after lipos to get the best life out of them.Originally Posted by cooldude6617
As for the shorting issue, what I do is I have matching JST plugs for the connectors soldered in to the speed controller so there's no way I can short the wires. It is definitely something to avoid >_<
