    how can I add power LEDs to my featherweight which is running at 18volts

    buy an LED, a suitable sized resistor and wire them in across your batteries after the removeable link. There are calculators all over the net that can help you work out a suitable resistor. Either that or buy a premade LED unit. I believe technobots stocks some.
