Drill motors with low ratio gears

As the title suggests, I am looking for 2 drill motors 14.4 - 24v with gearboxes that can have low and high ratios.

by high and low do you mean ones with a small metal lever on the gearbox??

i got a couple of those gearboxes kicking around although they will need to be re-assembled. I put them in a bag as I didn't need the gearboxes and just left them.

Yes Alex sounds like the ones, you move the leaver and it engages the low gear ratio and 18v sounds about right.


Gary thanks for the offer If I can get ones with the motors connected that would be my first choice but if not then they would be fine.

Had a look craig and I started putting together a couple of gearboxes from the parts in a box I have of drill parts but I realised I didn't have the fronts of the gearboxes with the variable speed. I will have a look elsewhere but it looks like I won't have what you're after

I've only just noticed this thread. I'm afraid to say I have a set of these gearboxes sitting just to the left of me on a bit of tissue paper sitting on my stereo. If I had noticed it before I would have brought them to Leicester. If you are still in need of them I can post them to you or if your not in a hurry I can bring them to the O2.
