You didn€™t think I was going to forget the awards did you? I think we can all agree that 2010 hasn€™t been the most exciting year for vapourbots, so the awards for this year have been condensed a bit. The usual rules apply:

» Please vote for as many categories as you can
» Try to narrow your vote down to one choice per category
» If you can€™t decide between two choices, they will both receive half a point
» Please do not vote for more than two choices per category
» You cannot vote for yourself or your own vapourbots for any awards

Best Clusterbot - I'm still not seeing the greatness behind With Or Without You, so Door Stops gets it again. :P
Best Interchangeable Robot - Are there any? :P I guess there are. Slammer VI, I guess. I guessiguessiguesssssss. Woohoo.
Best Antweight - Tracy Farber's Skeith, Joey McConnell's Bobcat a close 2nd
Best Walker - Having realized the robot I was going to vote for isn't a walker at all, I'm voting for Hex Appeal. :P
Best Shuffler - ...MeCannibal 3.0 ftv :P
Best Tracked Robot - Darkestar by far...none of my own tracked bots can hold a candle to it, nor can anybody else's, imo.
Best Rammer - Flick of the Wrist, surely.
Best Flipper - Wedga Triton.
Best Axe - Between Axeon 4.0, Mobile Failure, and Black Panther I'd have to go for Black Panther.
Best Vertical Spinner - The 6isc
Best Horizontal Spinner - Eye of Ran II
Best Full Body Spinner - SOTAR, it has massive potential not fully realized.

Best Battle: The Dutch Grand Prix - round 2 of the Vapourbot Grand Prix
Best Writer: Kody Kunz or Steve McGregor would probably win this on quality (and I am giving Kody the best vapourboteer and Steve the best tournament and battle in reflection of that) but my vote is actually going to go to Samuel Park - he's kept going consistently when most other people that joined around his time deserted, and his battles might not be as detailed or realistic as Kody's or Andy's or Steve's but they're fun to read, and fair play to him for that, so have a well earned vote Sam.

Vapourboteer Hall Of Fame Induction: This goes to a person I to be honest was quite surprised isn't down there already - he's always been around in some form or another, he's played a big role in the development of realistic stats in vapourbots, and his designs have been quietly quite influential to me if not anyone else - he also supported me in the early stages of my vapourbot career which I remain quite grateful for. My nomination for the hall of fame is Mr. Daniel From Team BriteSpark Stickler of Merthyr Tydfil in the land of his four fathers - thanks, Dan, and I know you'll be back around here at some point ;P
