in what way?
to take the power and heat the motors are going to draw in combat
possibly but it never hurts to over rate your wiring
I think the actual wires are ok for size but you would do well to solder them on properly as they tend to be quite badly soldered
just started testing and got a few questions:
1. what resistor shall i use as an interference suppressor on these motors?
2. sounds a silly question but do i have to match the grub screws exactly so that the motors spin and brake at the same speed?
3. whats the best way to secure robo challenge blue wheels? loctite?
1. it's not a resistor, it's a capacitor. Not sure what size you'd use and whilst it's a very good idea to fit them you should be ok without if you're using 2.4ghz radio gear. That's not to say you wont get interference because it can happen. We have had a few issues with antweights and also it seems with Dantomkia on the weapon fire side of things because we got lazy.Originally Posted by Danjr1

3. Personally i'd recommend against loctite and just try and use the reverse thread screw which comes with the drill itself. Mainly beacuse I'm fed up having to cut the shafts and drill out the wheels and re-tap them![]()
Discovered one of the motors is a little stiffer than the others so I'll rebuild it and see what happens. Used the reverse screw on the wheels and a load of loctite! Just got to get the spikes and mount the power link
never needed to loctite a wheel and never had one come off. I've had battles where the bot has come out and the wheel has been able to move back and forward along the thread but a quick tightening and it's fine.
