Seems awful slow and also a very low current rating?

Unless you're using extra gearing on the drill the gear ratio should be 1:1 which will cause the peak current draw to be about 25A and give about 7mph

Should be ordering plastic today 1000mm x 500mm x 10 which will be beefed up with some metal (this might not happen if my dad forgets! ....again)

Buy from Technobots, their prices are pretty good given the current exchange rate and potential customs charge. Although DE will deliver for £2.50.

Plus I do believe members of the FRA get a discount at Technobots.
