Mantis is one that jumps to mind, never had to crush, just clamped and lifted opponents.
Mantis will be at the O2 event.

There was another machine in robot wars, can't remember its name though. It had two horizontal arms that came from the side and clamped onto it's opponent. Got the front torn off by hypnodisc.
That was Splinter, the part that was ripped off at the front was a part of a large plastic garbage bin lid. And you forgot the axe.
Splinter had its last event at Wickstead, a fight against Terrorhurtz and Kan-opener.
