Yeah, is 20mm a good thickness or does it have to be thinner?

hmm toast omnom, -
anyway but would still b more helpfull to see a design or something, as you'll most likley want it different thicknesses throughout the robot and all that
Mhmm, Im still not sure, Im going to have a 3 or 4mm aluminium bassplate but would 20mm hdpe be too thick and heavy for a four drill motor drive, hazard type bot?
Also I know this is off topic but what type of motor could I use to power the lawnmower blade or bar?
i would have thought 15mm hdpe would do, but again it depends on your design and how you'd mount your lawnmower blade and everything,
and just go for a motor called a speed 900 because its simpler that going brushless and since its your first robot you'll find it easier to get up and running although your still gonna find building a spinner difficult at first
