    Theo ...
These sort of questions arises ALL the time in the early build of newbies.

The problem is your lack of understanding and the difficulty in transfering knowledge 2 you via this medium.

    So I'll try once again.

I connect pneumatic ports together with nylon/plastic tube.
The nylon tube pushes into a fitting that is screwed into the port/s of the various components.
These fittings are available with many combinations of threads and push in tube sizes.

    I'd recommend 6mm nylon tube.

So your push fittings will be 1/8 bsp thread + 6mm tube for the ebay cylinder and 1/4 bsp thread + 6mm tube for the ebay valve.

Everything will then be connected together with 6mm tube.

So ...You'll want fittings that suit your port thread size and nylon tube size.

Pic shows 1/8 bsp + 6mm push fit into cylinder then 6mm tube into a 1/4 bsp push fit.

    fit onto this:

just wondering because the valve is G1/4 and the stud is bsp1/4?

it'd be easier to buy a valve with the coil. like this:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-port-solenoid-v ... 500wt_1156

this valve would work if you are going to be running of 24v. or you could buy one new from:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pneumatic-Solenoi ... 797wt_1141

i bought a 24v 3/8 valve from this seller. all seems good.
