Spinner help

What is the best kind of motor to use to power a spinner? If it is brushless I can get a ESC for £5 in galaxy would that do?

Brushless motors are the way to go for a truly effective spinner, which motor is up to you, though I would seek some advice from people who use brushless motors more than I do at http://www.robotwars101.org/forum. Do you have a link to the controller you suggested ?

It was in the stock clearence section so i dont, I know that it was 12ah.

That should be sufficient, I'm using a 10A for my fleaweight spinner.
