Update:

The new Rx arrived and is installed. It doesn't look right having something new in the robot, I may scratch up the surface a bit to make it fit in.....

Our welder has packed up, so the final parts of the robot have been bolted in place instead. Not ideal but it'll have to do for now until we get that sorted.

Not entirely sure what's going on, but I think one of the clutches in the drill motors has decided to start slipping, so need to check the grub screws.

Had a weigh in and found we are about 100 grams over the limit, so need to shave that off somewhere.

Added some upright supports at the front of the robot, that act as supports for the scoop and as mounts for the side ears.

Then as a test of strength I decided to stand my lardy (15 stone) arse on the robot to see if it could take it and it does no problem.

So almost there! Just a few things to iron out and we'll be ready for Birmingham.
