    at the back (away from any wheels etc). I would advice having it set inside the bot so that when the link is in place it is protected inside the bot. Have a hole big enough to get your fingers in to take it out. If you are overly concerned about damage you can put a flap of armour on a hinge over the hole but remember that you want to be able to remove it in the case of an emergency easily ie reach in and pull out, no fiddling.

    You will find a fair few robots have holes for the link and leave it as it is.

    looking really nice,

    and dont worry- in my experience your first robot won't get wrecked, its the ones after that will get wrecked :P

    we've all been there but even then, it makes you wana make it even better and improve it even more.
