I found a 24V Electric scooter motor on ebay for like £40 but what should I use to power it? and is this motor good?

Also jack, What chain set do you use? All I can find is Bicyle ones or motor bike ones would those be suitable?

Not sure about jacks but mine came from a scooter some sets are aviable on ebay like this or i've also seen them pretty cheap on an australian website here or you can do as i did and ring up any uk scooter shop and they have loads spare.
