Hence you can have a servo set up to go from full left to full right and be a flipper on channel 3.

Take a look thorugh the manual and find a setting that will allow you to do what you want.
The third channel will allow you to operate a battle switch or a servo and i think you can adjust the end points on a servo. It will have difficulty if you want to set the speed of say a disc or have good control over servo position rather than an on/off switch. It works though but I'm quite sure I'll get more into it as time goes by.
