Difference in robotic terms between low and high density polyethylene?

Hdpe is significantly stronger but is less flexible than ldpe so parts will probably have to be thicker to compensate.

It should make decent armour if you allow it room to flex

Thing with that scooter is you cant tell if it runs off a single motor or 2 separate ones

Worth the gamble, if it is one motor you just use it to mess about in. Make it like a remote control pope-mobil

Solid-state equivalent of a battleswitch, might try one out in Drumroll for the weapon as it eliminates another point of failure (moving parts in a relay that could break):
