Each suspension arm had a really long coilover shock absorbers so that each arm moved up and down independently. Alot better for off roading this way. Having axles solid mounted for off roading is no good, the rides really uncomfortable and you will find going over rough land your wheels will leave the ground and you wont go anywhere. having each arm independently mounted to a shock absorber the wheels are constanly being forced to the floor so you always have drive.
