what cheap material should I use to servive agenst the toughist spinners, I need it for one wedge at the front of my new robot.

Hardox is the best affordable material for the job... weight for weight, grade 5 titanium is probably better, and various superalloy steels are definitely better - but those two options are very definitely NOT cheap.

thanks, wear do i get hardox from and can I weld it.

Talk to anyone on here for small scale stuff as a fair few people have some knocking about, or failing that JL steel are the UK importers for hardox and just may have offcuts knocking around.

As for how to weld it - stick welder with a 7018 or similar low hydrogen rod will be your best bet for hardox I reckon, failing that use what you've got, normal mild steel mig wire or whatever. It'll be easy to weld.

Has any one got some spare hardox I can have?

Did some more work on the new robot Finished cuting and screwing nylon 6. mounted drills but neen to re make them because thy are inpratical. cut and mounted hdpe for the bottom of the robot' wired it up and had it running, It looks good and powerful. need to build battery, ESC and recever mounts. need to cut top hdpe, add removable link and then im finished the basic body and all I need to do then is make the range of wepons for it.

No but I went to my uncles house and charged my battery there, and I got it running, Its amasing as it has so much power and acceleration. thanks for your help.
PS have you got the servos?

Sorry I have'nt got the servos because galaxy has but the price up to £6.99.
I got a servo for my antweight (superant)so now it has an electric lifter.
Yesterday I cut the lexan so it now has some new armour, I'm assembling it today.
