Those speedos will be useless, the reason is that RC car ones generally can handle rather less current than they're rated for and don't reverse at the same speed they go forward. This means your robot won't turn well.

I'd recommend something like a pair of electronizes, a sabertooth, a scorpion xxl, or something like that which is more intended for robots.
