Thread: Bosch 400s

  1. #1
    Hi guys,

Got a pair of 12V Bosch 400W motors for sale.
Been holding on to these for a while now (about three years!) in the hope that I would get round to using them but, as with the wheelchair motors, I just don't see it happening anytime soon. They're taking up space and I would much rather see them go to good use in a robot than sitting in a cupboard doing nothing.

£30 for the pair (or £15 if you just want one :P)
No postage (they weigh a bit and as I said in the other thread, don't really have the time to sort P&P out)

PM or reply here if interested
Will have them with me at Barnsley

Sorry to bump this thread, but I'm redecorating my room and need to shift a few things I'm not needing, two of them being these motors.

£15 each as before, but £25 if you take the pair. I've got plenty of free time now so can sort out P&P. I don't know how much it will be but they're about 3kg each so I'd say £6 for P&P per motor but if you take the pair I'll cap it at £8 and in the event that it doesn't cost that much I'll refund the extra.

    So to summarise:
    1 motor = £15 + £6 P&P
    2 motors = £25 + £8 P&P

Also, is there any interest in a 2ch Futaba Attack 2ER radio control unit with 2ch receiver, rechargable long-lasting RX battery (2500mAh), two Acoms servos and two spare sets of crystals?
    £20 + £4 P&P

Finally, got an electric window mechanism.
Electric motor and a banana-shaped gear rack. A good base around which to make a FW lifter. Not particularly heavy but a bit bulky size-wise as its got some thin metal arms attached to it (part of the window mech). Similar to http://www.m-99.co.uk/Electric_Windo..._regulator.jpg but without the thin parallel rails at the top and middle.
    £10 + £5 P&P

would you say one of your motors would be suitable for a fw axe weapon?

It could be; bear in mind that it's the size of a 750 and weighs about 3kg (I think I weighed them at Barnsley and they were 3.6kg) so it's almost a quarter of the max weight limit and quite large, but if you can fit it into your design then it should be pretty good. It's only 12V remember - comparing to the 350W scooter motors that are 24V - so if you run at a higher voltage, like 18V, you'll get more than 400W out of it.

I'm guessing for a trip to Estonia they would cost a bit more than £8

Are you interested, do you want me to try and find out the cost?

Still got the 2ch radio and electric window mech kicking about.
