Maurice has gone to the Mechanist's company at the start of this day, to track down the MMM.

Miss Frost, currently in charge, has already searched for magical traces, and found none. Facts worth mentioning as that the theft of the MMM happened when The Mechanist was killed, and that all camera's were taken out, all at the EXACT same time, by an EMP.

Where the MMM used to be, Maurice used his Magnometer and he picked up a trail of the MMM, Maurice borrowed a space suit, put on his sky flippers, and followed the trail of the MMM, which took him skywards, until a point EXACTLY above the crash site where the Mechanist's remains were... from that point, the trail leads through the sky, to a warehouse, where symbols were chalked on the floor... it appears that the warehouse has been empty for quite a while (7 years or so, originally used for smart milk bottles), Maurice has taken pictures in it, of the symbols, and of some of the paperwork in the warehouse, the warehouse seems to be owned by the police, Maurice also took a half-empty cup of coffee with him, and a pack of biscuits, and the chalk.

Now, from here it gets interesting, Maurice went back to miss Frost, and showed her the pictures, and the readings. The pictures suggest that the chalked symbols are a teleportation spell, which does show why the trail ends there, the MMM has been teleported away. We cant reproduce the spell, Frost says.

And even more importantly, the readings of my Magnometer. They suggest that from the ground, towards the point above the crash site, something else was with the MMM, and Frost says this was The Mechanist himself...

And from this point onwards, until the warehouse, yet ANOTHER reading was picked up, something silver or copper or so

mind you, that while Maurice was following the trail, he as being watched by lots and lots of ravens...


SOOOOOOOOO, it seems that The Mechanist AND the MMM flew from A to B, and at point B, someone else entered the scene, The Mechanist fell, died, and the newcomer and the MMM flew to a teleportation site, owned by the police

fact: The Mechanist is strong enough to pick up and carry the MMM
