Patricia, talking to V has discovered:
V set the warrant, and the reward is payable to a dark elf at the bar. More interestingly perhaps is that according to V, he set the reward in the hope of putting your group under pressure and causing them to change the state of play. Also suggested is that people probably can't permenantly kill you because you are important pieces in 'a game of powerful players who play for high stakes' - if you were killed one of those players would find a way to put you 'back on the board'
Following that, Patricia asked around and discovered that AK Corps were not widely known, but by business types, were known as a company who provided a cure for billionaires who've ruined their lungs with cigars - and that they seem to of a lot of trading with the Mechanists Company.
Meanwhile, because of his charismatic voice, Maurice has talked to Ten-knife and discovered a bit of his back story and about about this world in general.
On his part, it seemed he got a Doctorate in history, but turned to murder as a profession when it turned out there were not jobs in history.
Ten-knife also explains that you are 'Fallers' - the local name for those from another plane and that you are relatively lucky - Fallers sometimes arrive in empty space or the heart of a sun, although there a few survivors of that sort of thing despite the odds. He also suggests that the number of fallers has dropped sharply in the last centuary and a half.

The night begins to draw to a close and people start leaving, the club getting quieter.
Phil, in his disguise, talks to Crabmeister - the prawn makes several lewd comments, but refuses to be drawn on any useful information, yet. What he does say is that he wants a certain item€¦ acquired and if someone was to do that, then they could, within reason pick their reward. He hands over his snail number should you be interested enough to follow that up. He them saunters off after making several more comments that would, if Phil was an employee, prove a very strong basis for suing for harassment.
Taranis talks to several partybots. There has been a massive spike in courier work in the last week - around 500% but as short term memory is deleted after each mission they can€™t give any leads. However, a partybot called HALley might be able to help. Unfortunately, no one has seen her for two days. The last to see her was a very drunk Sir Chromalot, who says that she was going to a warehouse a few days ago (and gives a rough description) and that she was going to meet €œsome King or something€Â. From the sounds of it, HALley hates Chromalot.
The group however, finish their conversations and set off to leave. However, as they are outside the club they are approached by a female Satyr wearing a thick blue woolly jumper, but still shivering slightly at the cold. She seems to be asking everyone if they have seem HALley, as she is really worried about her. After telling her that you haven€™t seen HALley, she tells you that you believe she was heading to some kind of technology company warehouse. If this has anything to do with this King you don€™t know.
You€™ll agree you€™ll let her know if you see her, but at this point you end up heading back to your accommodation where you can all €œchange€ and go to bed.

DAY 3
After an early start, and a substantial buffet breakfast, Patricia heads out to the library to research her own origin while the others are still eating.
After arriving at the library (a huge snail like shell) and meating the librarian (a beagle in a suit) Patricia unearths the following information:
There is only one definite twice fallen - Lord Doomforall, who is further unique in that he is the only known being able to be able to traverse universes under his own power, albiet with only partial control of his destination (OOC: ala tardis). Interestingly, during the period he was ruling this world an unusual background energy was detected by a group called the Crystalline Monks of Qwi. It started high and gradually decayed over his reign to nothing. In all other circumstances connected with a possible twice-fallen this same energy spiked for a duration of 15 days before disappearing. There is also an unidentified energy spike within the last 20 years.
The seven other known presumed Twice fallen associated with these events are:
Ghortax, Ebonlise, Professor Vengeance, Ultimatrix 23, Roger the small brown terrier, Mirrorsong, Kethlutei
The Beagle then suggests that Patricia could go to The Honourable Guild of Mad and Dippy Scientists which is nearby to see if there is any of this energy present, thus indicating Patricia's possible origins. They are apparently harmless except to an individual called Snikwad Drahcir.
At Patricia's request, the Beagle also finds some books about the Mechanist -
the first seems to be about the mechanist via interviews with people whose lives have been changed by him
the second is a book detailing changes to the mechanist visually over the years
the third is more or less a straight but vague biography
There is also a book about the ten most powerful figures in Melded, listing: Panginoon, The Mechanist, The Ravager, Monsoir Butterfly, V, Ms Trundrebog, Hawksong, John Smith, Hyperion and, perhaps strangely, Atoom
There is also a book about the Mechanist's company: most interesting is that for an otherwise thorough book, it mentions AK frequently, but doesn't actually tell anything about them.
Lastly, the Beagle offers an odd piece of knowledge - names apparently have more meaning here because a rule of another univese fell. Essentially, look to names more to find information.

He had two large public arguements, one with Panginoon and one with his sidekick. The sidekick one claimed that Mechanist was uncaring, the Panginoon arguement is forgotten except in concept, presumably as a result of Panginoon's powers. From this is can be presumed that Panginoon is magical or psychic rather than scientific, as even printed copies of what the arguement was have crumbled.
Patricia also realised that Panginoon was Tagalog/Phillipino for Lord or Master, and that Atoom was Afrikaans for Atom

Hawksong griffon spellsinger-rockstar and literally the most popular entertainer in the world right now. While he has no direct psyhic powers his singing is capable of creating magic, even when just in recorded form - won great critical aclaim with his latest song which besides being musically acclaimed as innivotive' and 'ground breaking' by MeldedMusicMonthly or MMM literally summons a tiny fluffy kitten for the duration of the song whenever it is played thus winning him legions of adoring fans in the 12-14 female demographic.

She is also largely responsible for a new school of magic that has sprung up in the last 7 years - in her own words Shamanistic magic is a greatly under-researched area, it's been established that it works best controlling natural phenomenon like the weather, however, our research has shown that it can also be applied to radiation - the book notes that she is probably able to manipulate radiation on a gigantic scale, and that much of the cities power is provided by comparative novices in with magic form.

alright, Joey and I learned some things yesterday, from the top of my head...
There are three machines out there, one is a giant (massive, huge) battery owned by V, one is a mass manipulator that is stolen, a third one is a rift energy machine owned by AK. When combined, the three can spell disaster. Luckily, Joey and I called AK and they confirmed they still own the machine safe and sound.
It's deemed smart, at this point, to keep a very very close eye on the rift machine over at AK. What I'd suggest is to send Blotter there, with or without others, to explain the situation to AK and how vital it is that their machine does not fall in the wrong hands. If Kody is still inactive this week I'd say have Blotter stand guard at AK for Kody wanted Maurice to decide for Blotter for as long as he is inactive, the alternative for him would be to eat breakfast all day.
