I will go with the 2x2.2k resistors
Does the servo shaft wooble because of the removed plastic piece?
In the russian tutorial the guy bends the pot limiters so it spins freely, and only removes the rotation stop of the plastic piece, keeping the center piece in the shaft.
I might go for a mix of the 2 tutorials, but i will analyze the sitiation better when i get my servos.
