CNC plasma frame

For my 4th year dissertation project I've been designing and building a 3 axis CNC frame to be used with a MIG welder and plasma cutter. Got everything together today and started testing it out with a whiteboard and pen.

What software and electronic drive system are you using?

Mach 3 along with a uniport breakout board and PM542 stepper drivers (http://www.slidesandballscrews.com/pm54 ... l?cPath=44)

Cheap drivers but very high spec.
