    I thing I may go with a drum spinner when I get round to it since it's not as hard to build as a disk

    My Beetle is probably going to cost about the same as Bitza, but that's mostly due to weight issues. Most scrap parts are heavy!

    My component weigh in leaves me with 600g. That's to include leads, connectors, mounts, pulleys and some sort of chassis to hold it all together....

    Also my fisrt time using Li-Po and brushless.

    Don't worry though, still upholds the Bitza motto! Bits of lawnmower are obviously included.

    Just found this;

    http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-B62.html

    Apparently very popular in Beetles in America and come in several gearbox ratio's. Good amount of torque, especially compared to the MFA's on Technobots and lighter.

    Unfortunately gotta order form America, haven't looked to availability in England yet.

    They are good, Ive got some for my beetle if I make it...tried them out on a test chassis and they were pretty good with a 20mm wheel. Kenny also has them now in the latest version of 180

    Where did you get them? From RobotMarketPlace?

    I can find the gearboxes in this country, but not sure what the motors are?
