Thread: Comedy moments in RW/live event history

  1. #41
I thought I'd bump this thread with a few pictures of roboteers caught unaware, napping, or just plain acting silly:

    Simon Windisch (Team Exterminate)

Clive Brown, taken at Tag Team champs

    Alan Young (After Snibston)

    Joey McConnell (taken at Whitwick)

Trevor getting into the Xmas spirit at Wigan

I've always found shirts to be full of nutrients and have a certain good (although admittedly acquired) taste

    Sorry for the mega bump.

At Snibston last year, Void flipped itself over and Dynamite ended up on top of it. With Void trying to self right. After 10
seconds of hilarity, someone commented Its just like the discovery channel

I think the moment a lot of people found funny was me at the FW champs with my reaction to 360 hitting me after I had called a stop. I didn't think it was funny at the time, but I see the lighter side now

oh yeh i've seen the video of that. did 360 cause much damage?

that was from 1 hit, it threw me into a wall.

wow, thats a pretty nasty gash!

Yeah its fixable, TBH thats fairly cosmetic, the internal shock damage was more severe from LS4

At the RL Edinburgh event, I can't remember how it happened but I managed to walk into a door on the way for food and walloped my head and right knee off it. Thankfully it was missed by most people (I think)

The bowling that same night, when Dave Weston and I decided to start bowling in a 'speshal' manner - so left-handed, between the legs, kicking the bowling bowl like a football. Ironically we did better that way than bowling normally.

On the theme of bowling....well....the human bowling at the FW champs this year was good entertainment. And although it's been mentioned a hundred times already, barbecued lipos, singed arm hair and a urine-extinguished flaming petrol can are capable of providing hours of amusement
