hey guys im deciding to make a tag team tournie that will start during the finals of the main series

i need 4 people to enter 2 robots. As you will be partnerd with some one

the weight class will be heavy and super heavy due to the super heavies not getting attention

the setting will be 2 fights which will be a semi final, then the play offs, then the final of course

i will randomly chose 2 bots that you might be partnered with

behemoth and ziggy (super heavyweight)

Heavyweight: V'Ger
Superheavyweight: Tetris

...I have to come in here and air my (and some other peoples') concerns about V'Ger I'm afraid...

Firstly, it worries me that you appear to be using other peoples' designs with the intention of trying to be successful with a set of your typical stats when it has a famous name and pedigree behind it. May I remind you that we do read the stats and although you may well win with a design based on a successful line and not created by yourself originally, you a) will find it a much better honour to have won with an entirely original design and b) you, as Kody would say, 'ain't gonna win with your carppy stats' - the statistics of the robot still need to be realistic and more importantly good if you are to find success today.

Secondly, I had to do a bit of research on your choice of battery packs because I do actually know about and have used LiPos (they have some drawbacks, exceeding the discharge rate of the pack will cause it to explode, burst into flame, or do any one of a number of other interesting things, and if you drain them too much they will die and be unusable) and I found http://www.robotmarketplace.com/product ... -10SX.html as an example of the packs you're using...I feel I must warn you that with the peak currents of your motors it would be *possible* for the current drawn by all your motors to exceed 500A at one moment, which is the limit of a pair of those packs in parallel, and therefore it would actually be plausible if it burst into flames randomly at some point.

For the third and fourth points I shall quote Dave Weston:

I modified the stats. Now the only motors in the robot are S28-400 Magmotors, and I've added a 3rd battery pack. I've also thinned the armour, so please PM me with any other problems you find in V'Ger's stats.

Also, the only reasons I entered V'Ger was:

1: It's old and successful.
2: It has no chance of winning.
3: I wanted to see how it does today.

And as I said earlier, I'd very much like it if you, and anyone else who finds problems with V'Ger's stats, would PM me the problems, so we don't muck up Lian's thread.

As a fifth point, V'Ger belongs to me, and you can verify this by asking the Nick on ARC who goes by the name of Spatula. :P

EDIT: Yes you did ask him for it, but from what I see on his ARC thread, he never responded saying you could take it. And he e-mailed me V'Ger files. :P If he e-mailed you saying 'yes', show me.

More precisely, you asked for V'Ger V6, not all of them. Therefore, I decided to get V'Ger V5.

Wouldnt point 2 make point 3 obsolete?

For the sake of this arguement, Im glad youve withdrawn V'Ger, post 1 of Nick's thread at ARC makes me believe Nick gave the V'Ger line to Kody, but Kody and especially Nick would be the only ones to know this.
As for Eurypterus, I vaguely remember you getting Alex MW's bots but can you show me the thread it happened in?

I will enter Liar 2 as my HW and... something else as my SHW, if it takes to long to come up with something can I have Toro?
