the above switch, could i use it to operate a single motor needing fwd,Stop,bk controls?

also it seems to suggest ac voltages can it be used dc? (i thought yes as in the description it says robotic weaponary)

answered one of my own questions by re checking the votage is 28 vdc at 10a

Nope, you'd need something more complicated to go forward/reverse/back... to do it with relays, you'd need two: a DPDT to handle forward/reverse and SPDT for on/off. It's doable with two battleswitches but you'll need to replace one of the relays on the boards with a DPDT one.

I think you'll find that it's not possible with two Battle Switches due to the ON position of the relay being set at the one position in relationship to the stick position ...thus both relays will be ON or OFF ...Rather than.. Relay 1 ON @ stick up - Both relays OFF @ stick center - Relay 2 ON @ stick down

It would work if you swapped round the NO and NC connections on the relay, you'd just have a non existent dead zone.
